WoT Reference Desk
Well, perhaps some of you may have noticed, but WoT is a series that lends itself to all sorts of reference materials. wotmania has a few big ones right here for you to enjoy, with more scheduled. Read the descriptions below to see what is already available and what you might find helpful. A description of upcoming projects is listed at the bottom of the page.
Encyclopedia
It's hard to believe that when wotmania was first getting started (back in 1998) the material that now makes up the Encyclopedia is really all that made up wotmania... The Encyclopedia includes in-depth information about a variety of WoT topics - characters, nations, cultures, and more - all cross-referenced to let you hop around and see how things are related. A great place to brush up on WoT information or do some research.
WoT Search
The WoT Search utility is a pretty handy little search tool that I cooked up. Input any string of text and the WoT Search feature will tell you what chapters in WoT that particular phrase appeared in. Really handy when you're hunting for information about the gholam or just curious how many chapters the word "sniff" appears in...
Chapter Summaries
The chapter summaries project is your chance to submit summaries of WoT chapters to wotmania. As time goes on I plan on adding a search feature to the chapter summaries and kinda tying it together with the PoV Index.
PoV Index
The PoV Index is a nifty little tool that plows through the entire text of WoT to find chapters that include content written from the point of view of a character that you specify. This is nice when you're looking up information about a particular character to find chapters where you see WoT through their eyes.
