  1. Post an intro message

You know, something like "Arrival". Tell us who you are, where you're from, what your story is, all that good stuff. If you come from Seanchan lands, Shaido lands or from any Free Nation that hates Aes Sedai or Asha'man, tell us of your travels in a few extra posts. Also, tell us why you decided to become Gaidin in the first place.

  2. Post seven (7) regular GiT messages

This number is not set in stone. Chances are, you will end up posting more than 7 messages. Currently the training system goes in a rigid cycle. Lessons include: Sword Teir one and two, archery, mounted combat, survival, and a couple others. The training is boring, yes, but it serves as a way to help enhance your writing skills, should you be lacking in that area, and develop your character. Also do not limit your posting to just on lessons. A much swifter raising will come should you post frequently on more than just lessons.  Once the Head Gaidin and the Master of Arms believe that you are ready to move up, you will run through the "Gauntlet" test.

  3. Time to be Broken

Once the trainers feel you are ready to move on your character will face a full Gaidin one-on-one with dulled swords with no hope of winning. The purpose here is to break your character physically and mentally so that they may be re-forged into warder material.

  4. Post seven (7) Algai messages

Once you have attained the rank Algai you will be given more freedom. Now your character will be allowed to RP with Accepted without harassment. You will also be given missions and assignments rather than lessons, although you will have to attend a few. Make sure that your character is not quite the same as when they first came to the Tower, maybe growing up a bit now that they are given a bit more responsibility.

  5. Post your character going through the Maze

Yes, I'm sure most of you have no idea what the Maze is. It is somewhat like the Arches. It is a ter'angrel stone gateway, on the other side is a hedge maze you must find your way through. There will be an entity known as the Guide on the other side who will give you clues to help you through. It sounds confusing, I know, but read this first and it should help you. Got to give credit to Dannah for the great idea of the Maze and to Geoff for his wonderful job in making it come to life :)

  6. You're Gaidin now!

Well now what? You can bond an Aes Sedai and follow her around for the remainder of your life. In some special cases you might not be required to serve the White Tower, but it would have to be cleared with the Head Gaidin before your training even begins.
