Your intro message will highly depend on what circle you join.
Join a Circle
Right now, there is really only one circle. The Ordo Shadar. Doon Bekkar's circle has fallen into inactivity. Also there is the Black Ajah, but it has only one member. But we are in the works of implenting another Dreadlord and another circle. More will come in the future.
The Ordo Shadar
This sect mainly consists of Asha'man who have sworn themselves to the Shadow. If you want to be a Dark Asha'man you will have to join the Asha'man as well and pick a Shadow alias. There are three ranks within the Ordo. Initiate, Betrayer, and Shadar Ashan. You do not have to be a channeler to attain these ranks, there are various other ways. Also the Ordo commands the Dark Army, a force of darkfriends and has sects inside the ranks of the Gaidin. For more information on the Ordo contact Sol.
Dreadlords, Chosen, Councillors, etc.
To become a Dreadlord, you'll have to be pretty dedicated to the Great Lord. You'll also have to be a channeler, but not all powerful Darkfriends can channel. Non-channelers can command armies, even become Councillors if they are dedicated to the Great Lord's cause. Not every Friend of the Dark needs to be a channeler. To become Chosen. . . well. . . let's just say it's impossible. The Chosen and the Nae'blis will be RPed by other players as NPCs when they are needed.
The True Power
There has been some confusion the topic of True Power use by members of the Shadow. The True Power is reserved for Chosen and a select few Dreadlords. . . It's simply pure coincidence that one of MY characters happens to be one of those few Dreadlords. . . Ahem. As I was saying, the right to channel the True Power is given only to those who have proven exceptionally evil. That means: Me, or someone who has been here a long time. *hideous cackle* Anyways, don't write a new character with the ability to channel the TP! Only old characters may be GRANTED that ability by the Great Lord (i.e., by my permission).
