Be'lal

Be値al, the Envious, is certainly the Forsaken of whom the least is known. A master of manipulation, his reputation led him to be known as the Netweaver.

Originally he was Duram Laddel Cham. Little is known of Be値al痴 life before he turned to the Shadow. Some records indicate that he may have been a strong force opposing the Shadow before during to the Dark One.

Be値al was a better manipulator than Rahvin and more skillful than Sammael in dealing with enemies in open conflict. For this reason Be値al was an extremely dangerous adversary. Be値al is suspected to be among those who razed the Hall of the Servants days before the Bore was sealed.

Since his release...

After escaping the Bore, Be値al made his way to Tear where he ruled as the High Lord Samon. Here Be値al made plans to kill Rand al探hor when he came to claim Callandor from the Heart of the Stone. If things went well, he might even gain possession of Callandor.

These plans were foiled when he was killed in the Stone of Tear by Moiraine Damodred. Like others of the Forsaken, he is forever out of the reach of the Great Lord of the Dark; he was killed with balefire.
